Procedure and requirement for imported animals from aboard
- Flight schedule of the animal have to be confirmed
- Make a recommendation letter from the Regional Office for Livestock, by attaching complete copies of the animal documents.
- Apply for the import permit from the Directorate General of Livestock with recommendation letter from the Regional Office for Livestock and copies of the animal documents.
- Get certain flight schedule of the animal arrival
- Report to the Section of the Animal Quarantine at the Soekarno Hatta Airport and fill out the notification form.
- After the arrival, the animal should be checked by Quarantine Section in the airport terminal.
- The officer checks the completeness and validity of the document.
After document checking is finished, the animal will be put into the animal quarantine facility at Soekarno Hatta Airport and get health examination.
